The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) is proud to announce that 16 members of its Class of 2025 are eligible to continue their medical training in the United States Armed Forces.

Student Doctor Lu Wolff, OMS-II, has been named the 2024-2025 Student Doctor of the Year (SDOY) at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Airway management is an important skill for all medical trainees to practice, and a unique training event at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine provided an opportunity to do just that.

For the sixth consecutive year, students at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) had the opportunity to participate in a research project organized by the Idaho Urologic Institute (IUI), focusing on clinical practice guidelines from the American Urological Association (AUA).

Student Doctor Spencer Sawyer, a third-year student at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, was one of 15 Idahoans honored with the 2024 Spirit of Freedom: Idaho Veterans Service Award, bestowed by U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho).

Lucia Schroeder, DO, MPH, alumna of ICOM’s Class of 2024, was bestowed an inaugural David Susser Award by the American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI).

The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) is excited to share it has been formally accepted into the Teaching Kitchen Collaborative (TKC), a leading network of educational, research, and community organizations with teaching kitchens aimed at improving personal and public health. ICOM is the first TKC member representing both Idaho and osteopathic medical education.

The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) is pleased to announce it has received approval from the U.S. Department of Education to offer federal student aid to its students. 

Student Doctor Nahleh Koochak, a fourth-year student at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, is sharing her passion for dermatology and promoting the importance of sun safety in her first children’s book, “The Sunbeam Explorers.”
