ICOM Offers New Dual Enrollment Opportunity with ISU

The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine has a new program offering with Idaho State University. The program will utilize dual enrollment for students working to obtain their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from ICOM, and allow them to obtain their Masters of Public Health (MPH) from ISU at the same time.

11 ICOM Faculty Members Recognized by NBOME

Eleven faculty members of the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) were recently recognized by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) for their contributions to the content development for COMLEX-USA, COMAT, COMVEX, and other NBOME assessments for osteopathic medical students and physicians, as well as leadership positions in 2020.

ICOM Student Doctors Unveil Mobile Medical Clinic

While the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) is known for its state-of-the-art facility, in the school’s satellite parking lot sits a mobile medical clinic of humble origin, built by students and destined to serve a community in need approximately 2,300 miles away.

ICOM Honors Student Doctor Austin Jenkins

The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) honored the life of Student Doctor Austin Jenkins on Friday, Feb. 26, during a celebration of life at its Meridian-based campus. Student Doctor Jenkins tragically lost his life in a vehicle accident on October 10, 2020. 

ICOM revises restrictions as Idaho advances to Stage 3

On Tuesday, Feb. 2, Governor Brad Little announced the State of Idaho would return to Stage 3 of the Idaho Rebounds Plan, citing weeks of declining COVID-19 case counts and hospitalizations. With this new development, the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine’s COVID-19 Task Force has decided to revise the college’s own restrictions.
