The Office of Admissions at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) hosted its annual Accepted Students Day on Friday, Nov. 10. This event invites all accepted students to explore ICOM’s campus, attend information sessions, and mingle with faculty and current students.
The future student doctors of ICOM’s incoming class of 2028 also had an opportunity to meet ICOM’s Dean and Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Kevin Wilson. In addition to receiving a campus tour, the admitted students experienced an overview of ICOM’s simulation programming, interacted with one of the College’s Behavioral Health Specialists, and listened to a student panel. The event concluded with a social hour at the local TopGolf.
“We were excited to host this event on campus so our accepted students had an opportunity to build a connected community for the Class of 2028,” said Ellie Matthews, Assistant Director of Admissions at ICOM. “We look forward to hosting more accepted students for similar events in the future!”
ICOM’s admissions team is planning another Accepted Students Day in the spring.
