The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) has ushered in the new decade with a new website. With a modern and sleek aesthetic, the new website allows users to engage with the digital face of ICOM and experience the benefits of a user-friendly platform that reflects the college’s unique mission.
The website features a new look, navigation menu, directory and content. Developed with input from users including current students, staff and faculty, this website will serve as ICOM’s top marketing vehicle to attract prospective students and share important news and information about the college. The website also features other important enhancements, including a responsive, mobile-first design and improved accessibility for people with disabilities.
“ICOM’s new website is much more streamlined and geared to attract the next generation of physicians,” said Dr. Tracy J. Farnsworth, President of ICOM. “The beautiful design elements and visuals prominently featured on our new website truly reflect the student-centered approach we value at ICOM.”
Led by ICOM’s Office of Communications & Marketing and an internal website task force, this project has taken six months to complete. ICOM partnered with Stoltz Marketing Group, a Boise-based firm, and together, the team conducted research, audits and tests to determine audience and designs.
“I’m excited for the new website’s ability to introduce prospective students to what the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine has to offer as an educational institution before coming to visit our campus,” said Dr. Thomas J. Mohr, Dean and Chief Academic Officer of ICOM. “Not only will they discover our academic program, they’ll also get a sense of our vibrant campus life and community.”
