The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (ICOM) Board of Trustees appointed Christopher Gasbarre, DO, FAAD, FACMS, as its newest member effective July 1, 2021.
Dr. Gasbarre is a board certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery who currently practices in Spearfish, South Dakota for Monument Health.
Dr. Gasbarre is a past Chief of Staff of Monument Health Spearfish Hospital. Prior to that role, he served as a staff physician at Cleveland Clinic in the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Institute.
“I am honored to be asked to serve on the ICOM Board of Trustees,” Dr. Gasbarre said. “I hope my experiences and contribution will compliment an already exemplary group in guiding ICOM into the future.”
Dr. Gasbarre received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from A.T. Still University/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. He completed a fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, as well as a residency in Dermatology. Dr. Gasbarre has also published or edited numerous articles and book chapters in the field, as well as lectured internationally.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Gasbarre serves as a Community Medical Director for Monument Health, Spearfish Market, and is a Monument Health Network board member. He is a proud and devoted husband and father.
